Data collection
RIMERO does not collect personal data. The app has no account system, no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party crash reporting, and nothing in it sends your activity anywhere.

RIMERO 1.0 requires no account. Image import, editing, and export are designed to take place locally on your Mac.
This policy explains how RIMERO 1.0 and this website handle your images, files, and related data.
Local image processing
Import, Film Base, editing, Roll review, Gallery, and export run on your Mac. Photographs are never uploaded to a cloud or remote service.
User files
RIMERO runs in the macOS app sandbox. It opens only the files you select in the system file picker and writes results to the destination you choose. Source files stay where they are and are not overwritten or deleted. Derived data such as preview caches and frame recipes live inside the app container and can be cleared at any time.
Network services
RIMERO makes no network connections: it requests no network-client entitlement and links no networking frameworks, so there are no accounts, no cloud sync, no remote processing, and no online content service. This website is static and uses no analytics SDK, tracking pixel, advertising script, or behavioural-tracking cookie; the only stored value is your language choice, kept in your browser and never transmitted.
Third-party components
RIMERO bundles local components: LibRaw for RAW decoding, OpenColorIO for color processing, LLVM OpenMP for runtime support, and ExifTool for reading metadata. They run on your Mac and do not connect to the internet. Licenses and notices ship with the app.
Changes to this policy
If the local-processing scope, data practices, or contact details change, this page will be updated with a new effective date.
